Torey and Ebba’s Birth Story

“I had to be induced with sudden onset of preeclampsia at 39 weeks. I was able to be started on Pitocin which made for some intense contractions once my waters broke. Joanna was an amazing support while I labored with use of a ball, shower and various positions she suggested for comfort. I also found great benefit from use of the Christian Hypnobirthing playlist she had recommended. I eventually got an epidural to progress my labor and she was also a great support through that process, allowing me to rest while also suggesting strategic positions to allow my labor to progress as efficiently as possible. When it came time to push, she was full of good ideas to help me through the process. She worked well with my nurses and was a great guide to my husband and comfort to me. I was so thankful to have her in the room. ”
